Palace Residence & Villa Siem Reap – Hotel Review

BEATTHEHEAT_ONLINE_728x90

Siem Reap is one of our favorite cities for short trip or a weekend gateway — mostly because the atmosphere, it’s just so chilling there. Not to mention good food,  cheap drinks, cheap massage and of course very affordable resort & five stars hotels  🙂

On this post I will do review on the hotel that we recently stayed. Went for weekend break (28 – 30March) with mom, aunt and also the bebool [Ogi, Lian and Joff]

Airport Pick-up and Check-in Experience

We were welcome by friendly staff at the airport without the need to call the hotel to double confirm (When I booked through Expedia, I directly added my flight details on the remark). The pick up vehicle was a 9-seater minivan, clean and in very good condition.

It was a short journey to hotel (around 10 minutes), and upon arrival we were welcomed again by more friendly staff and a welcome drum was struck 3 times. They handled our luggage, got us seated at the beautiful quiet lobby, where we received the welcome scarves and cocktail were served. There was no need to stand at the check-in counter. All arrangements were done at the sofa, while we relaxed.

The hotel architecture is Khmer style. Wooden decor. On the righ, Lian was taking photo of my aunt and I was photo-bomb at the back with umbrellas 😀

We particularly loved to have our breakfast at the outdoor seating area, just beside a beautiful fish pool

One of the most enjoyable time of the day was during breakfast. Delicious food + excellent companion + fun talk = Good time

Surrounding

Main Swimming pool with pool bar. If you book a private villa, you could have private pool as well attached to the villa
S2
The path way from swimming pool to the receptionist

The hotel located 10 minutes from the airport and around 15 minutes from the city center.  Perfect relaxing area as it is far from the main street thus calm and quite.

 RECOMMENDED

I personally recommend this hotel. It is excellent value for money and I do not have any complaints at all during my stay. Do not worry if you forget to bring your laptop as the hotel have business center where you could use their computer and printing for free.

All staffs are very accommodating and attend to our request promptly.

To reach the city center or temple tour at day time, you can hire tuk-tuk which is always by the hotel entrance. One way to city center is USD3 while a half day (4 hours) temple tour is USD10. In the evenings, you can just book the complimentary hotel shuttle for return to the city center.

If you plan to go to Siem Reap for short vocation, do email me for 3D2N arrangement at this hotel. I could get you discount rate inclusive of Airasia return flight tickets Kl-Siem Reap. Budget around Rm320 – Rm390/pax

Hi. Your review is so helpful. We (couple) are planning to visit Siem Reap and I find this hotel very good. Planning for 4D3N during Jul 9-12. What’s the price I can get through you?

Standard double room should do. With airport transfer.
