St. Michel 3. Dubrovnik Old Town – Review

Today I’m going to do a full review on the accommodation we stayed during our Dubrovnik trip.

Yup, I will start my review with the above sentence.  I’m personally recommend this accommodation without second thought. Both me and Ogi were very satisfy with the place and services since the first time we arrived till we left.

#First off all – It’s location is Perfect!
Located inside the wall – the Old Town and merely 5 minutes walk from any entrances. The most center location you can wish for. Quote from the listing description:

” house is located on the top of the street „Od Sigurate“, on a no. 12. This peaceful and quite neighborhood stands out for its beautiful stone staircase decorated by many flowers & greens, and it’s only a few steps away from the charismatic town center, historic sites, city walls, restaurants and bars…”

The only money we spent on transportation is from the Dubrovnik central bus station (where our bus stoped) to the old town. It took about 5 minutes and cost 2 Euro / 12 Kuna per person/way. You can even walk actually, it’s really not far and view is good. All tourism spots in Dubrovnik tourism map is inside and around the old town, so we walk everywhere – sightseeing, to restaurant, to beach and for shopping.

#Secondly, It is an original beautiful stone house from the 16th centuries – newly renovated to fit modern visage

All accommodation facilities and amenities were up to high standard (legit like in Hotel). Comfortable bed and coaches completed with fantastic view of the old town from it’s small window. This beautiful decorated rooms have all the basic stuff you need such as towels, safety deposit box, fridge and bathroom toiletries.

Lets pictures below show you exactly what i meant…

FYI, before decided on booking this accommodation, I did search thoroughly and compare other accommodation as well around the Old Town as well as in Lapad city center. I’m very confidence that this accommodation have the best value to offer in-term of price and condition.

What missing for me is water heater to make hot coffee or tea in the morning. I have sent suggestion about this on their Airbnb’s review. Hopefully this gonna be added on the listing and it should be perfect 😉

#Last but not least is kind and accommodating Host

Both Marija and her Husband Darco were very nice and helpful. Prompt answer to all my emails, fast check in process, champagne treat upon our arrival as it is our honeymoon and Marija even let us to check out anytime we want during our check out day because the room on that day was free.
