Best hotels to work for in 2017

Working in a hotel can be great, especially if you’re in an exotic location that you get to enjoy on your days off but don’t make that decision lightly. We have heard first-hand of the amount of hard work needed to keep up at a 5-star resort. If your mind is made up however, take a look at the list below for creme dela creme of hospitality.

Now, since these are the heavy hitters, we’ll just mention things that might be unique to the company itself. Even though Mariott group has more then a 100 thousand employees it consistently ranks very high among the best places to work for. It ranks particularly well for millennials probably due to perks such as a good number of days off (25 with one year of service) as well as daycare. Of course, they also have a bunch of in house perks such as employee discounts for stays, spas and restaurants.

Hyatt is the highest rated by their own employees and with good reason. Their vacation days are less then the two above but their healthcare plans are very comprehensive.

Kimpton

Kimpton is not particularly well known in Asia since they operate only in the states but they are owned by Intercontinental. Their employee satisfaction numbers are impressive for a hospitality company that has only 8000 employees. They seem to be very family focused with excellent parental and health benefits, including, seriously, a pet bereavement leave that you can take if your little furry friend moves to a farm.
